EVRI Visionaries is a student-led program designed to introduce high school students to the world of vision, healthcare, and innovation both locally and globally. Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world exposure, Visionaries explore how eye care and health impacts everyday life, and how it continues to evolve through research, technology, and community outreach.

Sophia Solomon
Founding Visionary Co-Chair
Sophia Solomon brings curiosity, compassion, and a global perspective to EVRI Visionaries. Inspired by her exposure to medicine, research, and international outreach, she is passionate about helping students explore how vision care can change lives both locally and around the world.
Her goal: to inspire the next generation to see what’s possible and to be part of it.

Founding Visionary Co-Chair
Emerson Reiling brings energy, creativity, and a strong sense of community to EVRI Visionaries. He is focused on making the program engaging, inclusive, and fun, creating a space where students feel connected, inspired, and excited to learn. His focus: to build curiosity that grows into confidence, possibility, and global connection
